JOHNSON, Adelle Jeannette
Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Edward Johnson (d. 1978). Sadly missed by her special niece/sister Anne Quinlan and her husband Garry and her many nieces and nephews and their families. Also missed by her stepdaughters Debbie, Kim (Tim) and Cheryl (Ken). Adelle was predeceased by her parents Francis and Amelia Nolan and siblings Phyllis Rochetta (Phil), Frances Warren (Clynt), Mary Ballentine (John), Tom Nolan (Eileen), Theresa Dunlop (Norman), Joseph (Elsie), Rita Goselin (John Ballentine and Gerard Goselin), Freida Paquette (Joseph), Lois Murray (Leslie), Cyril and Marita. Adelle taught Latin and English in several schools including St. Peter's High School in Peterborough. She enjoyed a long career with Air Canada and travelled the world.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 followed by a Celebration of Adelle's life in the DUFFUS CHAPEL at 1 p.m. A reception will follow in the Duffus Reception Centre. Private family interment on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Park Lawn Cemetery in Etobicoke. In memory of Adelle, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
