Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Joan Cook. Loving father of Karen Sadler (Graham Hart) of Peterborough, Kristen Doyle (Don) of Nobleton; Kim Sadler predeceased, and father-in-law of Carol Sadler of Ajax. Dear brother of Margaret Salak (Mel) of Bobcaygeon; Howard Sadler predeceased, and brother-in-law of Connie Sadler of New Zealand. Fondly remembered by Debra Meikle (Bill), James Cook (Juanita) and Jason Cook (Amanda). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 and 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 followed by a Celebration of Alan's Life on Saturday at 1 p.m. Reverend Dr. Anne Gowans-Blinn officiating.
