Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas McMahon Sr. Loving mother of Irene and husband John Jones of Lakefield, Leo McMahon and wife Diane of Peterborough, Audrey and husband Dave Watson of Hastings, Thomas McMahon and wife Helen of Cavan, Wayne and wife Diane of Peterborough, Mildred and husband Ken O'Brien of Douro, Mark McMahon and wife Yulafay, and Jake McMahon and wife Kathy of Peterborough. Beloved grandmother of 23 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Helen Girard, Loretta Crowley and Rita Walsh. Pre-deceased by her parents Ovila Beaudoin and Noemie Rheaume, sons Paul and Murray. Special Thanks to Russ and the Staff at Lakefield Extendicare for your loving care during Alice's stay there.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-5 p.m. Sunday. (Parish Prayers 4 p.m. Sunday) Funeral Mass in IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 10 a.m. Reverend Marek Ignaszewski officiating. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
