Loving father of Pauline (Hank) Todd, Bernadette (Roger) Crowe, Mary (Barry) Cooper, Tom (Rosalind), Leo (Ann), Anne Cranley (Sam Hilderbrandt), Debbie Heffernan (Terry Ball), Patti (Dan) Lee; pre-deceased by Ambrose Jr.. Dear grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Catherine Moloney; pre-deceased by brothers Fred, Leo and Robert. Son of the late William Joseph Heffernan and Marie Bernadette Nolan.
