JEANS, Anne Kathleen (née Goodfellow)

Kay died in Peterborough on December 24, 2017. She was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec on January 23, 1929, the only child of Colin Goodfellow and Martha McNally Goodfellow. She had fond memories of her early years in Sherbrooke. Always an animal lover, she grew up with ponies and horses and successfully entered horse show competitions in Sherbrooke, often placing first. She became an accomplished artist, painting in oils. She was predeceased by her parents and in 2008 by her dear husband William (Bill) Jeans. She will be missed by Goodfellow and McNally cousins as well as by many dear friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on May 5, 2018 in Ennismore, Ontario, St. Martin's Cemetery, where her ashes will be interred beside those of her husband. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, she has requested that donations in her memory be made to Lakefield Animal Welfare Society, Peterborough, or to the charity of your choice.
