Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Sunday, April 23, 2017 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Joseph Heffernan d. July 27, 2005. Loving mother of Chris and dear grandmother of Mitchell and Nicklas. Dear sister of Vern Hamilton (Hilda). Dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John (Jack) Hamilton and Doris Dodson, and sisters Doris Henwood (late Jerry), Iris Hamilton and a brother Glen Hamilton (late Sandra).

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April  26, 2017 and 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017.
