Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in her 87th year. Devoted wife to Kevin Leahy for 64 years. Selfless mother of Joanne (Bob) MacLean, Mary Leahy, Cathy Kempman, Kevin, Vincent, Sheila Leahy (Dave Wallace), and Peter (Ada) Leahy; Theresa pre-deceased. Dear grandmother of Alyssa, Ryan and Tina, Siobheann, Miquela, and Michael, Eric, Caitlin, Sean and Ryan, Kara and Kirsten. Dear great grandmother of Chloé, Léa, Elliott, Preston, Aidan and Callum. Dear sister of Katherine Doyle (late Joseph), and Camille (Lorne) Waywell. Dear sister-in-law of Dr. Philip Leahy (late Theresa), Frank (Julie) Leahy, and Madelyn Leahy (late Bob). Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Peter Greenan and Anastasia Moher, and brothers Reverend Father James Greenan, Joseph and John Greenan, and sisters Mary (Frank) Lynch, Gertrude Greenan, Eileen (Simon) Kirley, and Alice (George) Kelly and brothers-in-law Ollan (Agnes) Leahy, Clare (Joyce) Leahy, Reverend Father Leo Leahy, Vincent Leahy and Ray (Edna) Leahy.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 and 1-5 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2014. (Parish Prayers 5 p.m. Sunday). Funeral Mass in ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH, DOURO on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Douro.
