Entered into Heaven peacefully with his loving family by his side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Marilyn Shaughnessy for 58 years. Much loved father of Carol (Dan) Flynn of Crystal Lake, Illinois, Kim of Arnprior, Ontario, and Julie (Craig) Smith of Mississauga, and Greg (Leanne) of Windham Centre, Ontario. Loving Poppa of Amy (Andrew) Van Sistine of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Sara Flynn of Crystal Lake, Illinois, infant Laura Ann Flynn (deceased), and Matthew, Megan and Brendan Sullivan all of Windham Centre, Ontario Happy Great grandfather of Lucas Van Sistine of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Son of William Bernard Sullivan and Mae Killen (deceased). Dear brother of Theresa Moloney and Cyril Sullivan of Peterborough; Michael Dennis, Ray, Romeo, and Clair Sullivan and Doreen Kennedy all pre-deceased. Brother-in-law of Al Shaughnessy of Peterborough and Eileen McTeague of Owen Sound. Paul was a very successful insurance agent for London Life Insurance Company for thirty one years. Special thanks to Dr. Crane, Dr. Whiting, charge nurse Julie and all the nurses of A2 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre for their wonderful care of Paul.

Friends will be received at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013 and 1-4 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2013. Funeral Mass in ST. ALPHONSUS LIGUORI CHURCH on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 10 a.m. Burial following at St. Peter's Cemetery, Peterborough.
