Peacefully at Fairhaven Home on Thursday, December 13, 2012 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Henry La Fave (February 22, 1983). Loving mother of Gary (Catherine), Paul (Joanne), David, Brenda (Thomas) Pettigrew; Janet pre-deceased (March 19, 1972). Dear grandmother of Hilarie, Lucas; Lori, Michael, Jennifer, Sean, Dana, Paul and Mathew; Tasha, Jodie; William, Janet and Cora. Always remembered by her great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Peter (Denise), Jack, Emmett, Paul (Patti), Patricia Lustic, Teresa (Fred) Garvey, Doreen Arthurs and Shirley (Allan) O'Neill. Dear sister-in-law of Helen Crough, Anne Crough and Betty Sargent. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and their families, and also many neighbours and friends. Pre-deceased by her parents James Crough and Bernadette Crowley, brothers Timothy, Vincent, Michael (Max), Fergus, Robert Leo, Urban, and Gerry Crough and sisters Sister Eileen Crough, Colette Moher and Helen Hoey.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2012. (Parish Prayers 5 p.m. Sunday.) Funeral Mass in the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER-IN-CHAINS on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
