WILSON, Caroline May (Carrie)

Peacefully and surrounded by loved ones, Caroline May Wilson (Trotter) of Apsley, Ontario,  passed away July 17, 2023, at the age of 94. Carrie was the beloved wife of the late Bill Wilson (D. February 12, 1986).  She is lovingly remembered by her children Peggy (John) Downey, Faye Cotnam, Patti (Paul) Brinkman, Maxine (Rick) Growden, Bill Wilson, Angie (Doug) O'Neill, and David (Laurie) Wilson, her 18 Grandchildren, and many Great Grandchildren.  Carrie is predeceased by her parents Bert and Pearl Trotter. Survived by her brother Ernie, and predeceased by her three sisters and eight of her brothers. Carrie will be remembered for being generous with her heart and her time. With laughter and baked  goods, she welcomed us into her home and cottage, and offered a sanctuary for us to rest, be heard, and loved. We will cherish the memories we had with her, and the stories she shared from her  94 years will live on through generations.

Carrie's life will be celebrated Saturday September 2, 2023, through a Visitation 11am-12pm, followed by a Celebration of Life 12-1pm at Apsley Community Chapel. Reception to follow, North Kawartha Community Centre 1-3pm. In remembrance of Carrie's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the following charities:
