MEADE, Catherine (Cassie)  (Lifetime CWL Member)

Passed away peacefully at Extendicare, Peterborough, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 in her 100th year.  Beloved wife of the late Leonard Joseph Meade (May 28, 1993).  Loving mother of Leonard's children - Paul and wife Barbara of Douro Dummer, Marion Scott  (late Dennis) of Peterborough, Leona and husband Bill English of Hastings, Ron (Marilyn) of Peterborough and Kievan of Bobcaygeon.  Dear grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William McKeiver and Annie Sullivan, daughters Colleen Lytle (late Ed) and Carmel Vollering (late Martin), son Karl,  brother George McKeiver (late Teresa)  and  sister Rita Baggaley (late Jack).

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. on Friday, September 8, 2023.   Funeral Mass at ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH, DOURO on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11 a.m.  Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Douro.  In memory of Cassie, donations to St. Joseph's Church or to Easter Seals Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
