Peacefully at Providence Healthcare, Palliative Care Unit, Toronto on Friday, April 23, 2010 in his 78th year. Loving brother of Mary Anne (Donald) Forrest of Indian River, Bill of Toronto, Paul of Lockport New York, Stephen (Karen) of Sudbury, Richard (Maureen) of Vancouver Island. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents James Patrick Powers and Ethel Elizabeth Netter, brothers John, Bernard, Lawrence and Robert, sister Dorothy and nephew Frank Forrest.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. (Parish Prayers 4:45 p.m. Wednesday). Funeral Mass in OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH, OTONABEE on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
