Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, January 14, 2011 in his 76th year. Loving brother of Justin, Reginald (Mary), Tom (Marie), Paul (Darlene), Terry (Margaret) Shaughnessy. Also missed by sisters-in-law Verna, Rita, Albertha and Marjorie Shaughnessy and brother-in-law John Muldowney. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews and their families. Pre-deceased by his parents James Shaughnessy and Loretta Fitzgerald, brothers William, Patrick, John, James and Harry Shaughnessy, sister Helen Muldowney and sisters-in-law Estelle and Mary.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. (Parish Prayers 5:45 p.m. Tuesday). Funeral Mass in the CATHEDRAL OF ST PETER-IN-CHAINS on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Jerry Tavares officiating. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
