MOHER, Agnes Colette (nee Crough)

Peacefully after enduring cancer at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday March 21, 2010, age 75 years. Beloved wife of the late John V. Moher (February 16, 1994). Loving mother of Shelley (Jerry) Ryan of Douro, Larry (Jody) of Edmonton, Tim (Arlene) of Winchester, Terry (Bonnie), Adele (Dan) McDougall, Bernadette (Will) Vanderhost all of Norwood and Tom of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Sinead (Nick), Liam (Emily), Siobhan and Jeremiah Ryan, Conrad, Owen and Dan Moher, Hayley and Hayden Moher, Mandy and Kellie Moher, Laura, Seamus, Kevan and Ethan McDougall, Adam, Annika, Alexa, Ashley and Aiden Vanderhorst, Riley and Noah Moher and Great Granny Moher of Abby and Logan Ryan. Dear sister of Vincent, Carmel LaFave, Patricia Lustic, Helen Hoey, Teresa (Fred) Garvey, Peter (Denise), Jack, Doreen Arthurs, Emmett, Paul (Patti), Shirley (Allan) O'Neill, and lovingly remembered by sister-in-laws, Helen Crough, Anne Crough, Sister Theresea Moher, Vera Moher, Bernie O'Dette and brother in-law Joe Moher (Mary). Pre-deceased by her parents, James Crough and Bernadette Crowley and brothers Timothy, Urban, Fergus, Robert Leo, Michael (Max), Gerry, and a sister, Sister Eileen Crough.

Colette was well known for her active community involvement and held various executive positions with the following organizations: St. Joseph's Douro Catholic Women's League, Legion of Mary, Peterborough Canadian Irish Club, The Douro Seniors' Club, Zone 42 Senior Citizen's Association and the Lakefield Figure Skating Club. Colette will be remembered for her laughter, her deep faith, her love of family and friends and her strong connection and pride in her Irish heritage. Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South on Tuesday, March 23rd from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. (Parish Prayers 3:30 p.m.). Funeral Mass at ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH, DOURO on Wednesday, March 24th at 1:00 p.m. Cremation followed by interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Douro at a later date.
