Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Sunday, January 17, 2016 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Flaherty (d. February 2, 1995). Loving mother of Rosemary and husband Doug Thompson of Cavan, Edward (Penny), Michael and wife Ellen, Patrick and wife Teresa, and Joanne Osborne (Ivor) all of Peterborough; Richard predeceased. Dear grandmother of Stephen (Heather) Thompson, Kevin (Jenn) Thompson, Sarah (Peter) Dalliday and Jennifer (Andy) Stabler, Jessica (Rene) Peeters, Michael Flaherty, and Katrina Osborne. Dear great grandmother of Hunter and Sawyer, Jacob, William and Nathan, Noah, Lincoln and Mary, Aidan and Drew, Clair and Jacob, and Alexis; Benjamin predeceased. Dear sister of Gladys McColl of Nestleton, and Myrtle Crowe of Buckhorn, and sister-in-law of Jean Hutchinson of Havelock and Don Fields of Peterborough. Predeceased by her parents James Hutchinson and Cora Mae Gill, sisters Sarah Traynor and Marie Fields and brothers Stan, Bert and Norm Hutchinson.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 followed by a Celebration of Cora's life at 3 p.m. Cremation followed by a private family intement at St. Peter's Cemetery.
