PENNYLEGION, Anne Dorothy It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Dorothy (MacPherson), retired nurse and artist on Wednesday January 5, 2011 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her 82 year. Dorothy lived in Peterborough and was born in Big Pond, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She was pre-deceased by her husband Thomas, her parents the late William and Annie (Gillis) MacPherson, and brothers William and Hector and sisters Eunice and Margaret and two brothers in infancy, George Joseph and Duncan Joseph. She is survived by her brother Daniel Joseph (Beth) MacPherson of Big Pond Center and two sisters, Sister George Marie C.S.M. Bethany, Antigonish, and Marie MacEachen, Sydney, Nova Scotia. She will always be loved and sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and all who knew her.

There will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER-IN-CHAINS on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Luis Lapinid officiating. Interment will take place at Big Pond Cemetery, Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association or Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit.
