Peacefully at Creek Way Village Nursing Home, Burlington on Saturday, June 2, 2007 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Rita Mary Ellement (September 27, 2002). Loving father of Paul and wife Susan of Burlington, and Marlene and husband John Madgett of Calgary. Loving and cherished grandfather of Nicole, Travis, Traci and Stephanie. Dear great grandfather of Brayden. Dear brother of Pauline Ellement of Peterborough, Julie O'Brien of Douro, and Marion Tanguay of Montreal; Elaine Fobear and Joseph Giguere both pre-deceased. Ed will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Peterborough on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, Peterborough.
