Peacefully at St. Joseph's at Fleming on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the age of 92. Loving mother of Mike and wife Ann, John and wife Gail, Robert and wife Marlene, Catharine and spouse Keith White, Mary Houser and husband Murray, Gerard and wife Linda, all of Peterborough. and Marie of Marmora. Dear grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Eileen is also survived by brothers Leo, Maurice (wife Helen) and Gerald all of Peterborough. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Clarence Gabriel (1993), her parents Patrick Joseph Jr. (1928), and Mary E. Gooley (1975), her brothers Mike and John (World War II 1944), Dennis (1987), granddaughter Carole Courneyea (1993) and brother Dan (2008).

Visitation at the DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 5-8 p.m. Friday. (Parish Prayers 4:45 p.m. Friday) Funeral Mass in SACRED HEART CHURCH on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 10 a.m. Reverend Leo Coughlin officiating. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
