Suddenly at her residence on Saturday, August 30, 2008 in her 69th year. Beloved wife of the late John David McFadden (September 29, 1991). Loving mother of David and wife Michelle, and Don. Dear grandmother of Matthew (Ashley) and Ryan McFadden and Laura and Matthew Didomizio. Great grandmother of Benjamin. Dear sister of Bob and wife Annie Roote and Doug and wife Pauline Roote. Dear sister-in-law of Bernie (Lynda) McFadden and Bev (Ralph) Barker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Dear fiancee of Bill Amell. Pre-deceased by her parents Wallace and Mamie Roote.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and 12 noon - 1p.m. Saturday. (Order of the Eastern Star Memorial Service at 11:45 a.m. Saturday). Funeral Service in the DUFFUS CHAPEL on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 1 p.m. Reverend Warren Vollmer officiating. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
