O'CONNOR, Mary Eleanor (nee Gillogly)
Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care on Friday, January 17, 2014 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Patrick O'Connor (March 10, 1994). Loving mother of Patrick (Dr. Melanie Perkins) of Victoria, BC, and Cathy (Steven) French of Ennismore. Dear grandmother of David (Adeline) and great grandmother of Matthew. Dear sister of Joe (Fran), Jimmy (Sandy), Ross (Nancy), Lois Marsland (late Vic), Helen (Lawrence) Windrem, Genny (Dan) Davidson, Lucille Walsh (late Jack) and Ruth Wood (late Jim). Special aunt of Jane (Willy) Van Wijnen and many other nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Fabian Gillogly and Edith Mills, infant brother Vincent, brother-in-law Herb (Ruth) O'Connor and niece Frances Cadorette. Eleanor was a lifetime member of the CWL and longtime choir member at both Sacred Heart Church and the Cathedral. She was a Pastoral Care volunteer at Marycrest and St. Joseph's at Fleming. Eleanor loved music and travel and was a skilled calligrapher.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014. (Parish Prayers 3:30 p.m. Tuesday). Funeral Mass in the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER-IN-CHAINS on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
