MURDOCK, Elizabeth "Betty" G. Murdock (née Singer)

Passed away May 31, 2026, in Peterborough, ON. Born in Windsor, NS, in 1932 to William and Edith Singer (née Taylor). Beloved wife of John ('Jack,') died Apr 12, 2012) for 56 yrs. Loving mother to Nora Jane and Janice and dear Nana to Owen. Predeceased by her sister Geraldine (Jeri) and her husband Grant Marcotte, brother Billy, and sister Shirley, who both passed in infancy. Betty played piano, won many music awards, and was a member of the Royal Conservatory of Music. She was a member of many choirs and Avon Glee Club, a member of the Royal Auxiliary Legion of Nova Scotia, a graduate of Windsor School of Business, regional captain for March of Dimes for 50 years, joint Girl Guide leader with sister-in-law June Murdock, and was an employee of CIBC for 40+ years. She will be greatly missed by many friends and relatives.
