MONAHAN, Elmer Joseph (Bud) (Former Owner of Bud's Music Centre)

Passed away peacefully at  Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, December 8, 2018, age 88 years.  Beloved husband of Muriel Rome for 66 years. Loving father of Donna (Rod) Branscombe, Robert (Barb) Monahan, Patti (Tom) Harding, Susan (Tom) Brown and Deanna (Steve) Ellis. Dear grandfather of Amy, Leslie (Paul), Kyle (Kelley), Justin, Brian (Melissa), Angela, Brittany, Jordon (Manda) and Madison. Great grandfather of Tanner, Trent and Elizabeth. Dear brother of Carl, Norma (Jack) Bertrand, Priscilla Radey and Karen Monahan and dear brother-in-law of James Sinfield, Wayne Young and Margaret Pulcine. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Joseph Monahan and Lila Hartwick, brother Bernard, sisters Anne Marie, Phyllis and Bernice, sisters-in-law Mary, Shirley and Doris and  brothers-in-law Ray Radey, Harold Smith and Harry Pulcine.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME , 431 George Street South, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018.  Funeral Mass in OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH, OTONABEE on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11 a.m.  Reception to follow in Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Hall. Interment at Highland Park Cemetery on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Donations to the Lung Association or Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Intensive Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
