Peacefully at Fairhaven Home on Saturday, November 12, 2011 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Maria Vissers (nee Kraayvanger) for 58 years. Loving father of Herman, Elizabeth Jackson, Marietta (Steve) Reech, Perry (Theresa), and Christopher (Cynthia). Dear grandfather of ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Dear brother of Joanne Verhagen, Tony (Diny), Peter (Diny) Kraayvanger, Johan, John (Judy), William (Elaine) and Joseph (Julie). Pre-deceased by his parents Johannes Vissers and Elisabeth van Berkel and son Richard, brothers Andy and Harry, and brother in-law Bill Verhagen.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011. (Parish Prayers 5:45 p.m. Wednesday). Funeral Mass in ST. ALPHONSUS CHURCH on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 11 a.m.. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
