Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, January 30, 2009 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Justin Shaughnessy for 61 years. Loving mother of Justine Shaughnessy, Ann (David) Bowen, Kathryn (Frank) Drumm, Julie Byers, Sally (Sister Sarah), Gregory (Irene), Patti (Leo) Fitzgerald. Dear grandmother of Shaughn(Chuck) Craig, Tim, Erin (Daryl) Hancock, Matt (Lindsay), Kathleen, Brennan, Kelly, Ryan, Tara (Matthew) Powell, Kathryn, Kylie, Sarah, Grace, Molly, Luke. Estelle will be missed by 5 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dear sister of Eileen Chesson, Betty Burgess, Theo Collins, and Joan Walsh. Pre-deceased by her parents Lorne and Dorothy, brothers Jim, Tom, Bud, John and sisters Mary, Kathleen Allen and Patricia Haig.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. (Parish Prayers 3:45 p.m. Tuesday). Funeral Mass in St. Anne's Church on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 1 p.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the PRHC 3B Medical Nursing Staff or Birth Right Peterborough would be appreciated by the family.
