Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Monday, November 6, 2023 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Fiore Zimmaro d. March 26, 1985.  Loving mother of Michael Zimmaro, Richard (Rick) Zimmaro and Mary Ann and husband William Foley; Rose Anna Powell pre-deceased. Mother-in-law of Brad Powell. Dear Nana of Paula (Chris), Steven (Jamie), Meagan (Corey), Alexandria, Bentley (Natasha), Christy (Tyler) and Taylor (Taylor). Dear Nonna of 18 great grandchildren.  Dear sister of Helen, Barbara, and Larry (Marita). Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews Evelyn will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Lorenzo and Erminia Sangestini, sisters Emily, Rita, Stella, and Velia and brothers Albert and Joe.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023. Funeral Mass at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH, OTONABEE on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11 a.m.  Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.  Reception to follow at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Hall.
