Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care on Wednesday July 4, 2007 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Arthur Joseph Lance for 67 years. Loving mother of Joan and husband Gary Long of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Patricia Lance of Peterborough, Bruce Lance of Fonthill, and Bonnie Long of Keene. Dear grandmother of Kelly and Wendy Long, Shawna and Andrew McLachlan, Tine and Kirby Sheppard and Christina Long. Dear great grandmother of Anthony, Nicholas,Tyler, Benjamin and Daniel. Dear sister of Vera Davies of Peterborough and David Troke of Ottawa. Dear step-daughter of Agnes Troke of Renfrew. Pre-deceased by her parents Angus Troke and Lillian MacPherson, sister Alma Flood and brother James Troke.
Visitation was held at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, Peterborough (705-745-4612) on Friday July 6, 2007. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Peterborough on Saturday July 7, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Highland Park Cemetery, Peterborough. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or PRHC, Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
