Loving father of Tammy Leonard, Tracey Garvey and Lauren Newbury (Vince Bierworth). Dear grandfather of Victoria Leonard. Dear brother of Colleen Kelly (late Norm), Mary-Lou Hogan (late Pat), Patricia (Rick) Moroz, Sally Scott, Fred (late Patti), Brian (Lorraine), Debbie (Kevin) Martin and Jane (Jim) Gill. Dear brother-in-law of Dorothy Garvey, Kay Garvey, Audrey (Dave) Westwood, and Albert (Mary) Willis. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dear son-in-law of Stephanie Lemon and the late Howard Lemon and Florence Willis and the late Albert Willis. Pre-deceased by his parents Edward John Garvey and Hilda Eileen Trotter, sister Marlene Dempster (late John), and brothers Edward Garvey and Wayne (Pete) Garvey.
