WILSON, George Charles

Born in Ottawa September 23, 1933 youngest son of William and Eva Wilson (nee Humphreys). Passed away in Peterborough, August 8, 2015 at 81 years. George was the beloved husband of Audrey (nee Robar) for 53 years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law to Krista and Graeme Blaikie, Carla and David Storey and Monty Wilson. Grandpa/Grampy to Connor and Brendan Blaikie and Eric and Andrew Storey. Dear brother to Pat Crowe and predeceased by brothers Leslie, Leonard and Harold. George enjoyed genealogy and Seniors Slo-Pitch and Hockey in his retirement from Imperial Oil/Texaco. Possessed of a disarming wit and always ready with a quick joke, George was at his best form at family dinners surrounded by those he loved.

No visitation at his request. Relatives and friends are invited on August 25th to the Funeral Mass at St. Alphonsus Liguori Church, 1066 Western Avenue, Peterborough at 1 p.m. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery followed by a reception in St. Alphonsus Parish Hall.
