Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Sunday, January 19, 2025 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Olena Oliinyk. Loving father of Valerie Johnston (Edward) and Gerald Alfred Johnston. Dear grandfather of Kalem, Kayanna and Edward Jr., and Ryan. Dear brother of Andrew, Cheryl, Eileen (Joe), Laura (late Paul) and Mary (Dave). Predeceased by his parents Gerald and June Johnston.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, January 25, 2025 followed by a Celebration of Jerry's Life in the DUFFUS CHAPEL at 12 noon.
