Beloved son of Clara Margaret Leahy (Nee O'Toole) and the late John James Leahy. Dear brother of Sister Rosemary Leahy C.S.J. of Mount St. Joseph and Clair Leahy. Dear brother-in-law of Carl Doherty and wife Jan, Gerald Doherty and wife Dianne, Jean McGarrity and friend Doug all of Peterborough. Dear uncle of Deedi O'Laochdha of Peterborough, Aaron Leahy of Toronto, Melissa Hancock and husband Darren of Peterborough, Shaun McGarrity of St. Catharines, Jamie Doherty and wife Jacqueline of Parry Sound and Ryan Doherty. Pre-deceased by his brother Father Harold Leahy, his brother-in-law Leo Doherty, his in-laws Frank and Dorothy Doherty and his nephew Chris Doherty.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 1-4 p.m. and 7-8 p.m. Sunday April 5th. (Parish Prayers 1 p.m. Sunday). Funeral Mass in St. Anne's Church on Monday, April 6, 2009 at 10 a.m. Reverend William Moloney officiating. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
