Peacefully at his residence on Wednesday November 7, 2007 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Hazel (Nee Delore). Loving father of Shelley Anne Watson and Victoria O'Brien. Dear grandfather of Justin and Brett Watson. Dear brother of James and wife Dorothy, and Marie Watts (late husband Bill). Dear brother-in-law of Dorothy and Harry Gaebel, Carol Ann Bosley and fiancee Derek Johnston and Margaret Anne Delore(late husband Leonard). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents John Leo O'Brien and Florence Kathleen Dwyer, son Laverne Gerald and brother Robert (late wife Beatrice).

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Otonabee on Monday November 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. Reverend David West officiating. Reception to follow in Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Hall. Interment Highland Park Cemetery. Donations to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre, Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation, or Victorian Order of Nurses would be appreciated by the family and can be made through DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME.
