Passed peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Monday, January 18, 2010 in his 79th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Marilyn (neé Huycke) for 57 years. Loving father of Rick (Anne) of Inverary, Paul of Mississauga, Pete (Deborah) of Winnipeg, Shawn (Barbara) of Halifax, and Ted (Lonny) of Peterborough. Dear grandfather of 12 grandchildren (1 pre-dececased) and 2 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of David (Pat), Ron (Grace), Jane Northey, Catherine Henderson, Bill (Ann), Al (Lynda) all of Peterborough, Stephen (Linda) of Keene, and Margaret Boyle of Cobourg. Pre-deceased by his parents William Douglas Hatton and Lillian Ann (neé O'Grady).

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. (Parish Prayers 3:30 p.m. Wednesday). Funeral Mass in ST. ANNE'S CHURCH, 859 Barnardo Avenue, on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 2 p.m. No casket will be displayed.
