Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital, on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of 54 years of Regina (Jean) Bos. Loving father of Patricia (Alex) Papp, Diana (Joe) Sullivan, Sharon (Charles) Harwood, Shirley (Mike) Vandebor, and Angela (Peter) Erdelsky. Dear grandfather of Melissa and Alexander; Joe, Ryanne and Katie; Stephen and Tanya; Cory and Tanner; Mikayla and Matthew. Dear brother of Ricky (Harry) Verhoeven of Kingston, Joanne (Bert) Heerkens and Reinilda (Peter) Diebels of Holland, Lucy (Adrian) Vandenbosch of Peterborough, Betsy (Henk) Keyzers and John (Diny) Schevers of Peterborough and Albert (Diny) Schevers of Holland. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents Johannes Schevers, and Hendrina Gevers, son Johnny, and brothers Harry and Albert Schevers.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday. (Parish Prayers 3:30 p.m. Monday). Funeral Mass in IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
