Peacefully surrounded by his family, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, March 30, 2009 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Marjorie Crowley for 53 years. Loving father of Wendy Campbell(Scott), Stephen (Peggy) and Christine. Dear grandfather of Jeff, Ryan, Erin, Katie, Elizabeth, Brooke, Zachary, Tyler and Eric. Great Grandfather of 5.Dear brother of Helen Muldowny (John) of Rockford, Illinois, Justin, Reginald (Mary), Tom (Marie), Paul (Darlene) Terry (Margaret), and Clare Shaughnessy. Also missed by sister-in-laws Verna, Rita, Mary and Albertus. Pre-deceased by his parents James Shaughnessy and Loretta Fitzgerald and brothers William, Patrick, John and James Shaughnessy and sister-in-law Estelle.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. (Parish Prayers 3:45 p.m. Wednesday). Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Otonabee Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Reverend David West officiating. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
