Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive on Saturday December 1, 2007 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late James Patrick Cavanagh (August 21, 1994). Loving mother Patrick (Sarah) of The Pas, Manitoba, Maureen Bates (Dale) of Peterborough, Gerald (Nancy) of Orangeville, Brian (Charlene) of Thunder Bay, Philip (Lesley) of Burlington and the late Peter (Cindy) of Peterborough. Dear grandmother of Mairead, Fiona and Donnacha Cavanagh, Allison and Kevin Bates, Yvonne and Claire Cavanagh, Connor Cavanagh, Katelyn and Ryan Cavanagh and Justin and Michael Cavanagh. Great-grandmother of Lucia. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick Butler and Teresa Shannon, brother Patrick Butler (Angela), sisters Mary Walsh (Frank), Teresa Gorman (Tom), Rita McLean (George). Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. (Parish Prayers 3:30 p.m. Tuesday) Funeral Mass in St. Anne's Church on Wednesday December 5, 2007 at 10 a.m. Reverend Christopher Reynolds officiating. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Douro.
