Passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late John Joseph Strano (September 14, 2023). Loving mother of  Dale Strano. Dear sister of Frances McMillen and husband Graham, Carol McCourt and husband Don, Gordon McCourt and wife Suzanne, and Murray McCourt. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Percy McCourt and Florence White.

A Celebration of Life for family will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the DUFFUS CHAPEL followed by the interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.  Friends and family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Reception at the Peterborough Golf and Country Club, 1030 Armour Road on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. In memory of Helen, donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
