Peacefully went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 10, 2022 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Leonard Roy Mattless for 68 years. Loving mother of William and wife Sandy and Wayne and wife Debra. Dear grandmother of Michele (Andrew), Nicole (Kyle), Amanda (Matt), Christine (Travis) and Michael. Dear great grandmother of Emily, Jackson, Chelsea, Blake, Cavan, Kaylee, Brooke and Owen. Dear sister-in-law of Elaine McMaster (late Ken) of New Zealand.  Daughter of the late John McMaster and Sarah Wilson. The family wish to sincerely thank the staff at Fairhaven for their wonderful care of Irene during her stay there.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2022. (Face coverings are required for those attending the visitation). A private family celebration of Irene's life will be held in the DUFFUS CHAPEL on Monday, March 14, 2022. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
