Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Maurice James Rice (December 13, 2004). Loving mother of Cheryl (David) Dinsdale and Dear Gran of Kyle. Dear sister of May Gravelle and Joseph Docherty (Millie Ross). Dear sister-in-law of Elizabeth (Alex) Hamilton of Scotland. Pre-deceased by her parents Joseph Docherty and Mary Anne Hanson and sister Margaret Brasseur.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 6-8 p.m. Friday. (Parish Prayers 7:30 p.m. Friday) Funeral Mass in the Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 10:15 a.m. Interment Little Lake Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
