MATWEY, Ivy Irene (Retired Real Estate Broker)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 15, 2018 in her 95th year.  Beloved wife of the late Steve Matwey. Loving mother of Jerry (Janis), George, Patrick (Judy), Susan (Ron), Shawn (Tom), and Shannon (Barb). Dear grandmother of Kirstyn (Will), Katie (Jason), Karyn, Carrianne, Elizabeth (James), Michael (Jill), P.J. (Jen), Terry (Kim), Christina (Steve) and Joey (Madison), April (Dave), and Chad (Amanda). Fondly remembered by her great grandchildren.  Predeceased by her sister Doris Campbell and her cousin Madeline Groh.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018. (Parish Prayers 3:45 p.m. Monday). Funeral Mass at ST. ALPHONSUS LIGUORI CHURCH on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in St. Alphonsus parish hall. Interment at Dawson Cemetery, Bailieboro on Tuesday at 2 p.m. In memory of Ivy, donations to the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
