Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Jane Theresa Garvey. Loving father of Alexandra Gill (Clement), Roberta MacEwan (Neil), Jeff Hendriks (Kristi), Casey Hendriks (Lisa) and Adrienne "Lucky" Saumur (Jorden). Dear grandfather (Grampy) of Mary Flora, Effie, Benjamin and Weston. Dear brother of John Gill (Sylvia) and brother-in-law of Arthur Jenkins. Lovingly remembered by the Garvey family. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Mary Gill, sisters Peggy Jenkins and Elizabeth Gill and brother George Gill.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 1-4 pm. on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Funeral Mass at SACRED HEART CHURCH on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Duffus Reception Centre at the funeral home.
