Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, November 27, 2010, age 81 years. Beloved wife of the late John Verhoeven. Loving mother of Henrietta (Frank) Duff, Joanne (Bob) Nelson, Eddie (Hilary Wear), Kathy (Pete) Colacci, Diane Young. Dear grandmother of John (Christina Mancini), Chris (Elaine Knott), Amanda, Sarah, Mike, Isaac, Alexander, Santina, Frank, John, Adrian, Gerard, Jessica and Jeff. Dear great grandmother of Jacob and William. Pre-deceased by her sister the late Cornelia van Raamsdonk (van de Ven) and her brother the late Kees van de Ven. Survived by step-brother Neel de Laat.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 6-8 p.m. Monday (Parish Prayers 7:45 p.m. Monday). Funeral Mass in OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH, OTONABEE on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. Reverend David West officiating. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
