Loving father of Pat, Linda Kempt (John), Bill (Janice), Rosemary (Wade Johnson), Herb, Paul, Pauline (Gerald Heffernan); pre-deceased by son Brian and grandson Dan Kempt. Dear grandfather of Matt, Katie and Maureen Heffernan, Lori Anderson (Josh), Cora Kempt, Jessie and Joe Doris. Dear great-grandfather of Abigail Anderson.
Dear brother of Kathleen O'Brien, Laureen (Joe Doran) and Vince (Anita). Dear brother-in-law of Joan Doris and Evelyn Doris. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents Herbert Doris and Mary Corkery and brothers Jack, Frank, Cyril and Basil Doris, and brother-in-law George O'Brien.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4:30 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday (Parish Prayers 4 p.m. Thursday) Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Otonabee on Friday November 2, 2007 at 10 a.m. Reverend David West officiating. Interment Highland Park Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
