McCARTHY, Joseph Raymond (Retired Keene area Farmer and past director of the National Farmer's Union)

- Born January 6, 1924 - Died October 3, 2010 at St. Joseph's at Fleming. Youngest child of Vincent McCarthy and Jennie Weir. Survived by his sister Loretta Bolin (Jack deceased) of Keene and his sister in law Bonnie McCarthy of Ottawa. Also survived by over 150 nieces and nephews from 4 generations. Pre-deceased by his siblings Eugene, Fern (Earl) Doris, Ormonde, Bertha (John) Turnbull, Mary, Lois, Elinor, Grace (Gordon) Nelson, Marlyn (Jack) Low, Donald.

Visitation at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CHURCH, KEENE from 10-11 a.m. Friday October 8, 2010 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Church at 11 a.m. Reverend David West officiating. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery. If desired, donations in memory of Joe may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (Research Division) or a charity of your choice,.
