CROWLEY, Kathleen Loretta (nee Casey)
At St. Joseph's at Fleming, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease on Monday, January 25, 2010 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Crowley (May 5, 1973). Devoted and loving mother of David of Peterborough, Mary (Jim Senior) of Courtenay, B.C., and Judy (Bill Byrd) of Peterborough. Proud grandmother of Adam, Alicia, Nathan and Delaney. She is survived by her dearly loved sisters, Jean Guerin and Rita (Duane Campbell). She was pre-deceased by her parents John and Mary Casey (nee Leahy) and siblings Eileen Connelly, Joseph Casey, Hilda Cranley, Shirley Howran and David Casey. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. After completing normal school, Kay went to business school and worked at a legal firm before marrying Fred and moving to the farm in Otonabee. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter and a wonderful homemaker. Her quiet, loving and gentle manner will be greatly missed.
Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday (Parish Prayers 3:30 p.m. Thursday). Funeral Mass in IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Peterborough or St. Joseph's at Fleming "Woodland Unit" would be gratefully appreciated.
