After 85 years of life, love, friendship and family, Laura McGiffen passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2008 after a wonderful Christmas. Beloved wife of Stuart McGiffen for almost 63 years. Loving mother of Stuart (Kathy), Connie (Joe), Carol (Steve), Gloria (Brad), and Jackie (Rick). Dear grandmother of Chris, John, Luke, Jamie Kathryn, Conor, David, Jocelyn, Adam, and Khalin. Dear great grandmother of Ethan, Ariana, Joseph and Jayden. Dear sister of Simone Wunsche, and pre-deceased by Roy D'Aragon.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Mass in St. Anne's Church on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 10 a.m. Reverend William Moloney officiating. Donations to the Sister's of the Precious Blood would be appreciated by the family.
