BARNETT, Linda (nee Crowe) (November 4, 1952- January 11, 2016)

After a life filled with love, caring and devotion to family and friends, our dear Linda passed away peacefully with family by her side, following a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Linda dedicated her life to service. She was devoted to the education of countless students within the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland Clarington Catholic School Board and served in many roles, most recently as Executive Assistant to the current Director of Education. Linda was the beloved wife of Paul, recently celebrating their 44th Wedding Anniversary, and the cherished mother of Aaron (Sonya), Rebecca (Scott Rawline), Matthew (Susan) and Ryan (Sonia). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Milo and Claire. Linda is survived by her siblings Patricia Crowe, Wendy Leitch, Michael Crowe (Rhonda), Brenda Crowe, Carol Crowe.

The family will receive family and friends at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. A Funeral Mass will be held at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH, 1830 Keene Road, on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Linda may be made to "The Good Samaritan Emergency Response Fund" at the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland Clarington Catholic District School Board.
