Peacefully at Providence Continuing Care Centre, Kingston on Monday, March 17, 2008 in her 74th year. Leaving behind John Shoniker and their four children Loretta Dufrane (Andrew) of Peterborough, Karen Powers (Dave) of Omemee, Margaret Tharby (Michael) of Pembroke and Robert of Peterborough, and seven grandchildren Jason, Colin, Christopher, Brent, Whitney, David and pre-deceased by Josh. Dear sister of Alma Fattori of Richmond Hill, Carl (Chuck) and wife Joan Shaughnessy of Oakville, and Ed and wife Gwen Shaughnessy of Peterborough. Pre-deceased by her parents John (Jack) Shaughnessy and Genevieve Mary (Sullivan).

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday. March 19, 2008 at 1 p.m. Reverend Raymond Rick officiating. Spring Interment St. Paul's Cemetery, Norwood. Donations to the Josh Dufrane Memorial Scholarship Fund would be appreciated by the family.
