Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, December 11, 2010 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerard George Carey (November 9, 1986). Beloved longtime friend of Ken Runnalls. Loving mother of Gary, Art (Patricia), Margaret (Al) Masters, Paul, David (Kathy), Kevin (Donna), Brian (Sandra) and Marie (Jack) Armitage, and son-in-law Ray Bonner. Dear grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her parents William Crane and Lillian Hatherly, brothers Lloyd and Percy, sister Velma McFadden, and daughter Teresa Bonner.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Service in the DUFFUS CHAPEL on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Raymond Heffernan officiating. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
