Peacefully and courageously at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, April 24, 2009 in her 80th year. Dear wife of Raymond Fitzgerald (deceased in 2002) and loving mother of Daniel (Janet), Paul (Holly), and Sheila Predescu (Dorin). Treasured and loving grandmother of Lauren, Dale, Christine, Kevin, Ryan and Luke. Predeceased by parents Paul and Marge McGuire, brother Dale, sister Bunny Collins. Survived by brothers Father Jim McGuire SFM, Malawi, Africa, Joe (Joyce) McGuire, sisters Janet (Jack) Purcell of Omemee, Anne McLennan of Thornhill and Ruth (Gus) LaMantia of Balsam Lake and brothers-in-law Bill Collins of Ottawa and Bernard O'Toole of Peterborough, and sisters-in-law Marg Lynch of Ottawa and Betty Fitzgerald of Peterborough. Margaret loved her many nieces and nephews in the McGuire and Fitzgerald families and cherished her many friends.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday. (Parish Prayers 3:30 p.m. Sunday). Funeral Mass in St. Alphonsus Church on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. If desired, donations can be made to PRHC, Palliative Care.
