Peacefully in her home at Royal Gardens on Tuesday January 11, 2011 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Vernon (Bud) LaPlante (December 28, 1988). Loving mother of Robert and wife Heather and Mary and husband David Wawrykow of Peterborough. Dear grandmother of Ashley, Katelyn, Elizabeth, Matthew and the late Kathryn (December 23, 1995). Dear sister of Helen (Barry) Kumpf, Jerry (Marlene) Legros, Fred (Dorothy) Legros, and Jim (Carolyn) Legros. Pre-deceased by her parents John Legros and Stella Worboy, brothers Peter and John (Jack) Legros and sisters-in-law Helen Legros and Leone Legros.

Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 1-4 p.m. Sunday. (Parish Prayers 3:30 p.m. Sunday) Funeral Mass in the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER-IN-CHAINS on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Jerry Tavares officiating. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
